Computer Science club in the female branch organized “Elderly
Technology Hackathon” on Wednesday, October 10, 2018.
The aim of the activity is to motivate the students to compete in
finding an innovative solutions to serve the elderly needs, through formation
of seven teams to discuss problems related to the elderly people and find
technical means to solve them, one of the most prominent problems discussed is
finding a way to organize the usage of every day medication.
The seven teams competed in front of the panel who voted for
“Track Med” as the winner team for their project “Smart Medication Tracker”.
The Saudi Industrial Investment Company (SINYAR) awarded a prize of SR 3,000 to
the winning team.
