First Meeting for Program Advisory Committee Computer Science

The Program Advisory Committee for the Computer Science Program held its first meeting on Thursday, February 20th. Those who participated in the meeting are representatives from Aramco, Schlumberger, the Royal Commission and Ma’aden Company. Also participated in the meeting are representatives from the Department of Computer Science &Engineering from male and female. 

The meeting discussed many important issues concerning the educational objectives of the program , and the program outcomes, the degree plan , and the course structure and prerequisites and the relationship of the program with the industry and employment prospects in the future for graduates , and cooperative training.

The participants came up with many important and useful recommendations and observations that can be utilized to improve the academic performance and the degree plan in the future.
