Leaders Club Holds the PEP TALK Event

Leaders Club had their first big event "PEP TALK" for this academic year, on Wednesday, 28th of December 2016 from 5 to 9 pm, at the female branch of Jubail University College. The idea of the event was to highlight the achievements, successes, turning points and passions of the students within the college, by giving them the chance to share their stories with all their friends, colleagues, and teachers on stage. The event's goal was to reveal the hidden power inside each student, and to let them know that not only famous and popular people are inspirational, they can be too if they only had the chance. The audience was nearly 150 students, some college faculty, in addition to the speakers' mothers.

The first speaker was Ghaida'a AlBarazi, she shared how she started learning drawing and painting, as well as how she improved herself to reach this high point of professionalism.

After that, Asma'a AlKhaldi talked about her participation in the robot competition within the last two years of successes, and how she and her team earned their trophies.

The third speaker was Lama Almash'haf who shared her story of how she was diagnosed with cancer and how she survived it.

The fourth speaker was

Shouq Alqahtani she shared her story of writing a small book called "Arabic Woman" when she was only 14 years old, the book includes many thoughts about many subjects. As well as she talked about how she participated in many Arabic debating competitions, and winning in most of them.

The last speaker was Wa'ad Aldhafiri, who got on stage to share her experience of participating in a program to build debaters, which prepare participants to respond to any suspicions of atheism and how that affected her personality, and made a turning point in her life.

The event included some activities, competitions, and a lot of prizes. Such as,messy boxes, mystery box, guide your partner, and never have I ever. As well as a large wall called "Before I die" where the audience can write their wishes and hopes.
